VPS hosting is a more cost effective architecture due to elimiating compute redundancy and clustering mechanisms. Whilst this sounds like a drawback, VPS provides businesses the flexibility to architect their own redundancy and high-availability within applications by deploying several VPS servers.
Yes you can, however there are a few exceptions. You are not allowed to use the server to cause harm, hacking, sending out unsolicited emails, or hosting pornographic content. Aside from these few exceptions, you are free to use your server for anything, as long as it is legal. Failure to do so could lead to suspension of your services and possible terminations of your account.
Our infrastructure is located in Sydney, Australia. This allows for complete data sovereignty and compliance with government regulations for applications and business that require it.
By default, our VPS servers are not backed up. We do however offer a few options for backing up your servers and applications using Acronis Cloud Backup software. Reach out to us and we will assist in setting it up.
Our VPS offering is a highly tailored and customisable solution, so whilst you can order a default configuration on our website, we still take great care in provisioning and setting up your VPS manually to ensure your complete satisfaction.
